The rules of the media industry are ever-changing. It's likely your future job does not exist yet. Embrace disruption and plan for flexibility in response to the unexpected. When making career decisions, think about your next jump. Put yourself in situations that lead to many alternative futures.

About Jeremy

I lead advertising sales marketing and strategy across all CBS Interactive business units (Entertainment, Sports, News, Tech, Gaming), positioning our assets (i.e. sports rights, programming, etc.) to maximize revenue. This includes working with our content and editorial teams to develop opportunities for brands. Prior to CBS Interactive, I was at WPP owned agency Essence, where I had several roles, including leading global digital investment and building the agencies mobile marketing and creative content business units.

After college and through my twenties, I had lots of different professional experiences including graphic designer for the New England Patriots, broadcasting for the National Hockey League, and roles at various internet and ad-tech startups. In 2010 via a мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û alumni connection, I was hired at Nokia and fortunate to develop an early expertise in mobile marketing. Within a few years, I was directing global mobile marketing across the organization. A former Nokia co-worker recruited me to join Essence and while at Essence, I worked closely with CBS Interactive, developing strong relationships with the executive team.
